How did you approach putting together your Friends of ASOT guest mix?
I approached this mix as a journey that reflects both where I started and where I am today. ASOT has always been a big part of my story, so I wanted to blend emotional, uplifting moments with more energetic and forward-thinking sounds. The idea was to create something that feels personal but still connects with the global trance family.
Is there a moment in this mix that you’re most excited for people to hear? Something that really captures who Andrew Rayel is right now?
There are a few special moments, but I’d say the transitions where melodic elements meet more powerful drops really represent where I am creatively right now. It’s that balance between emotion and energy that defines my current sound.
What do you want someone who has never heard of Andrew Rayel to feel after listening to your Friends of ASOT set?
I’d want them to feel a genuine emotional connection. Whether it’s goosebumps, nostalgia, or pure energy — the goal is for listeners to walk away feeling something real and to understand the passion behind the music.
