Artist Spotlight: JAN DE VICE

How did the collaboration with Inoblivion and Maestro Dabici for ‘Can You Feel It’ come together?

The two DJs and producers, JAN DE VICE and MAESTRO DABICI, first met in 2021 while working on a remix project – the beginning of a creative partnership and a deep friendship. Since then, they have produced and released numerous trance and techno tracks together, which have been met with enthusiasm not only by fans but also by scene insiders. A truly magical moment occurred in 2024 at the legendary A State of Trance (ASOT) in Rotterdam: In the middle of inspiring conversations with renowned artists from all over the world, JAN DE VICE and MAESTRO DABICI met INOBLIVION – an up-and-coming producer who had already attracted attention with a release on ‘Who’s Afraid of 138?!’ The chemistry between the three was right from the start. What began as a spontaneous exchange quickly developed into a creative collaboration: together, they decided to completely rework an existing track, with one goal in mind: Armada Music. The result: ‘Can You Feel It’ – an energetic tech trance banger that redefines the boundaries between euphoria and ecstasy. But it wasn’t just a musical highlight that was born – a meaningful, creative friendship between JAN DE VICE, MAESTRO DABICI, and INOBLIVION also began here.

Why was the Who’s Afraid of 138?! label the right home for this release?

Since all three artists have a strong affinity for tech-trance and techno, which is also evident in their DJ sets, it made sense to release the track ‘Can You Feel It’ on the label ‘Who’s Afraid of 138?!’ under the auspices of Armada Music.

What other projects or big milestones should we be looking out for from you this year?

JAN DE VICE is taking the next big step: in November and December 2025, two high-calibre techno tracks will be released on the internationally renowned label Revealed Recordings – more specifically on the innovative sub-label Kurai Records, curated by acclaimed artist Marie Vaunt. This not only underlines JAN DE VICE’s artistic relevance, but also his growing presence on the global techno scene. Further releases are already planned for 2026, promising new tracks that will continue his creative development and have a significant impact on the club scene. MAESTRO DABICI will release his next track at the end of October in collaboration with DJs and producers AV and Noah Seven on SUANDA Music (Roman Messer’s label), a massive banger in acid & techno style. Another production with New Zealand singer Jasmine Dean has just been completed. Thanks to Jasmine’s cool vocals, it’s perfect for the main stages of the world! The track is a mix of modern hard dance and tech trance and is exactly what clubbers are rocking out to these days. The demo will be sent out to labels shortly. With JAN DE VICE, another energetic track is in the final stages. As always, you can look forward to the end result of this powerful combo!
Inoblivions` journey through Trance will continue throughout the rest of 2025 and 2026 on some of the major labels in the scene, whilst some shows in all of Europe. The music ranges from techno to hard dance to uplifting, with trance always remaining at its core. There will also be some very exciting and unexpected collaborations. One of the new tunes will also feature beautiful vocals.
