Artist Spotlight: SUPERSTRINGS

Can you tell us a bit more about the new mix series you’ve launched this week?

Yes! For our first Chronicles of Emotions mix, we dived into the Armada catalogue to select some of the tunes we love playing out, along with a few fresh ones we’ve been excited about. It was so much fun revisiting those classics and discovering how well they blend, we really wanted to create something that feels both nostalgic and energetic.
The idea behind the series is to give people a way to experience the full SUPERSTRINGS journey: we tried to capture the energy and emotion of our live gigs and bring it to you, wherever you are!

What’s been the most exciting or memorable SUPERSTRINGS moment of 2025?

We feel like we say this every year, but 2025 has truly been the craziest year so far. Closing A State of Trance in February definitely kicked things off the right way, but playing our first 10-hour gig, making our USA debut, and going b2b with a couple of legends are all right up there, too. Still, the most memorable moments are always the emotions we feel when we hear those classics LOUD.

Are there any dream collaborations you’d love to have as SUPERSTRINGS?

Oh, there are so many. We’ve had plenty of heated discussions about this while travelling to gigs. Of course, we’d love to work with the boss, Armin, one day, but Mauro Picotto and Ruben the Round are also high on the list, and we love what Matty Ralph is doing at the moment. And well… there’s this other guy who’s back to trance now as well. We’re just taking it one step at a time and seeing how far this emotional wave goes!
