Artist Spotlight: SUPERSTRINGS

How did the idea for ‘Have Me (If You Want Me Too)’ first come together, and what drew you to working with Ferry Corsten again?

After the success of Remember, Ferry and us kept in touch: trading tracks, bouncing ideas back and forth, and even playing a b2b set together. Somewhere along the way, we realised we both had a soft spot for those euphoric late ’90s rave sounds. So when we hit the studio again, we wanted to push beyond the classic trance vibe of Remember and see where that shared influence could take us. Have Me is what came out of that: high-energy, with hints of hard house and ’90s rave, and packed with the same fun and excitement we had while making it.

How does working with Ferry compare to other collaborations you’ve done, and what do you think he brings out in your music?

Ferry’s in a league of his own, everyone knows how talented and experienced he is. What fewer people realise is that he’s also rooted in rave, breakbeat, and jungle. Tapping into that side of him made this collab special. We leaned into our shared love for raw, ravy energy, and it pushed the track into a wilder, more unpolished territory.

Following this release, where do you see the SUPERSTRINGS sound evolving in the next year?

We’ve got a packed year ahead: amazing shows, our USA debut, and plenty more in the pipeline. In the studio, we’re working on fresh collaborations with new names, as well as more SUPERSTRINGS originals. Our approach is the same as with our DJ sets: we like to explore the full spectrum of trance, from old-school, supersaw-driven anthems to deeper balearic vibes, harder edges, and maybe even some vocals. It’s all about keeping that variety and energy of the genre alive & kicking.
