Bouras remixes “Status Excessu D,” GAIA’s official anthem for A State Of Trance 500, originally released in March 2011. GAIA is the joint project of Armin van Buuren and Benno de Goeij (Rank 1), who have recorded and produced together since 2006 following decades of individual work, including Armin’s “Communication” and Benno’s “Airwave” and “Such Is Life” with Rank 1. Their debut album “Moons Of Jupiter” arrived in June 2019, showing that their sound reaches well beyond trance alone. Remixer Bouras, based in Berlin, blends trance melodies with techno rhythms and has picked up support from Rebūke on Drumcode Radio, Kasia at a sold-out Drumcode event in Colombia, and Sama’ Abdulhadi at Elrow Festival, alongside live sets across Germany, Norway and Italy.
