Armada Music is proud to announce the line-up for the upcoming Armada Night, on the 16th of May in the Westerunie venue in Amsterdam. John O’Callaghan, Dash Berlin and ElSandro will be representing the sound of the Armada Music record label.
The first Dutch Armada Night in 2009 was already announced a few weeks ago, along with the pre-sale of tickets for the event. To make sure the DJ’s have enough time to do their thing, Armada has chosen to stick to only three DJ’s, so they are able to do longer sets.
First of all, there’s Irish Producer/DJ John O’Callaghan, who’s had a more than successful 2008 with his big room trancer ‘Big Sky’, being hammered for months in a row by all the big jocks. John also had releases under various other aliases, such as Joint Operations Centre and Mannix. He won Irish Music Awards for ‘Best Producer’ and ‘Best DJ’ and made a number 60 entry in the renowned DJ Mag Top 100. 2009 brings him another few remarkable highlights, like his set at Trance Energy ‘s Mainstage. This Armada Night will also be the release party of his new artist album, ‘Never Fade Away’. During the night, visitors of the party can expect a slew of fresh tracks in his set.
Dash Berlin is the second name on the line-up. Dash Berlin, with DJ/Producer Jeff Sutorius as the front man, made impact with ‘Till The Sky Falls Down’ and their characteristic trance sound, which will be found on the upcoming artist album. They recently teamed up with Armada Music to start their own label: Aropa Records. Visitors of the Armada Night will be introduced to the sounds of Aropa through Dash Berlin’s set.
Last but not least, Armada’s in-house DJ and A&R manager ElSandro completes the line-up. His style can best be described as a trip along progressive house with a hint of trance. ElSandro has been making name as a DJ over the past few years, mixed various Armada albums and has some tracks from his own hand coming up on the label later this year.
