Time to uncork a few fancy bottles of champagne, cause we’ve got all reason to celebrate! The results of the annual Sony inthemix DJ Poll are in and feature both Armin van Buuren and tyDi on top. With about 33,000 votes, the poll was bigger than ever before, showing the Australian clubbing scene is healthier than ever.
Australia has clearly fallen for trance music, cause we find both Armin van Buuren and tyDi on a first position. As most voted International DJ we find Armin, who’s been paying the Australian land a few memorable visits. Not only with his very own Armin Only nights, but also rocking the crowds at several festivals in Melbourne and Brisbane. The Ozzies surely know their favourites!
Congrats go out to Armada producer/DJ tyDi as well, who prolonged his status as the number 1 DJ of Australia. The 22 year old Australian has had a busy 12 months, touring all across the country and headlining Holland’s and Australia’s Trance Energy events. Besides that, he also release his debut album, ‘Look Closer’, to much critical acclaim.
