One of Trance biggest surprises of the last couple of years is most certainly LÜRUM. Next week his new single ‘Forever Young’ is released on A State of Trance label. We are catching up with him to talk about it.
For those who aren’t familiar with you yet: how would you describe yourself and your music?
My music is the way I can express the world inside me and reveal it to other people. I like to combine several styles in my music, being not measured in this process.
What is the story behind your latest release?
I made a melody and showed it to my wife, who makes lyrics for my tracks. She liked my idea and created lyrics and demo vocals. We realized that the track needs male vocals. Luke’s voice was a perfect choice.
I combined melodic techno vibes in the beginning of the track with energetic trance elements in the main drop.
Why did you choose to release it at the A State of Trance imprint?
I had several releases on Armada during the last 2 years. So it wasn’t a surprise where this track should be released. I was excited to know that this track was featured on Armin’s ASOT Ibiza compilation.
